It is with great sadness that the family of Travis J. Roark, often referred to as “TR”, announces his passing this afternoon. TR was a well-liked citizen of Columbus, Kansas, who was known for his kind disposition and unwavering willingness to help those in need. His generosity made a huge difference in the lives of many, and his absence will always be deeply felt by those who knew him.
TR was enjoying a favorite pastime with his lover Linda Oberman at the time of his death: driving around the countryside. Unfortunately, during their trip, his heart failed. TR was taken too soon, leaving behind many unfulfilled hopes and goals, so his loss is shocking.
It is suggested that friends and family cherish the memories they shared with TR and the many ways he enhanced their lives. To all who had the pleasure of knowing him, his kindness and easy-going demeanor will be fondly remembered.
