He was last seen around 1pm on the fateful afternoon of his disappearance, wearing his iconic neon orange scuba tank and camo pattern wetsuit. Jeremy was known for his bold nature and love of the sea, so when he disappeared, the town was fascinated and worried people and local authorities pooled their resources to launch a massive search and rescue operation. Jeremy's body was tragically found in the water near Destin, bringing the search to a gruesome end and leaving friends, family and the town in mourning. This is despite the amazing and relentless efforts of the search teams.

Jeremy was a flexible and optimistic person, and those who knew him well will remember these qualities most of all.
