His passing follows the tragic death of another young American, David Kimball, who perished in Europe while BASE jumping.
On Tuesday, Kimball, 33, jumped from the Piani dei Resinelli mountains in Lombardy, Italy, located above Ovadia Loriana.
His intended normal jump turned fatal when he fell 3,000 feet to the ground.
The authorities in the Lombard region are investigating the unfortunate incident.
