Sophie Kay Alton left this world on her own terms and entered her heavenly home onward
August 30, 2024, at the young age of 12 years. Sophie was born on October 27, 2011 to Catherine Levon (Alton) Schmidt in Clearmore Oklahoma. At the age of two, Sophie and her family moved to Chandler, OK.
Her family moved to Chandler, Oklahoma, when Sophie was two years old, and she spent the next ten years growing into the amazing young lady she is today. Sophie was involved in the school community at Chandler High School when she was young.
Her enthusiastic involvement in school athletics and extracurriculars demonstrated her commitment to her interests. She was an avid Chandler High School cheerleader and a valued member of the softball team.
Sophie had an incredible zest for life and was bold and adventurous. Sophie approached every event with courage and a desire to serve others, whether it was helping her mother with a challenging task or jumping off a swing into a river. Her comedic videos and excellent academic projects, demonstrating a fun and creative spirit, were a clear example of her ingenuity.
Sophie had a strong bond with her grandparents, Grandpa Todd and Grandma Lori, and she loved them all very much. Her favorite things to do were spend time with loved ones and attend family events.
