Shelby Daniel, former track and field athlete and 2019 graduate of Buchanan High School in Clovis United, passed away unexpectedly.
The Buchanan High School track and field team described Shelby Daniel, who continued her athletic career while attending Cal Poly, as an “outstanding track athlete” in a social media post Thursday.
Buchanan Track and Field wrote on social media, “This loss leaves a huge hole in so many hearts, and we will never forget the amazing woman Shelby was.”
After graduating from Buchanan High School in 2019, Danielle went to Cal Poly.

The cause of death of Buchanan High School student, Shelby Daniel, has not yet been released.
