Jamestown University's physical therapy program is deeply saddened to announce the sudden death of Scott Mecham, a good friend to many, a dedicated student and loving husband and father. In addition to the Jamestown University community, Scott's death shocked the physical therapy community and the people whose lives he had a direct impact on. Remembering him and the wonderful man he was, his family, friends, students and co-workers find comfort as they struggle with this tremendous loss.
Scott Mecham was known for his unwavering commitment to his academics, his love of helping people, and his ingrained sense of duty as a parent and spouse. Although unfortunate, his passing reflects the deep loss experienced by the many people who had the honor of knowing and loving him. People have come together in this time of loss, sharing a common pain and working together to support the Mecham family in this traumatic time.
