It is with great sadness that the family of Dallin Batts announces her passing at 3:08 am following a courageous battle with cancer. Now that Delin has her angel wings, she is at peace and in heaven with Jesus. Everyone who knew her has an unfillable hole in their heart as a result of her absence.
As a child, Dallin was the adored younger sister who went everywhere with her brother and made countless precious memories. They became lifelong friends over the years, and talking with these friends about the “good old days” became a comfort during this difficult time. As a friend who would respond to a request for assistance at any time, a sister who could be trusted with any secret and a person who would always stand by her loved ones, Dallin was known for her kindness and loyalty.
Destiny Holguin, Dallin's daughter, was undoubtedly her greatest source of pride and happiness. Being a single mother, she accepted her responsibilities as a mother and pain and did everything in her power to make sure Destiny was happy, loved and cared for. She truly lived for destiny, and showed her daughter an unmatched level of love and devotion. In addition, Dallin was a devoted and loving aunt who had great affection for her nieces and nephews.
It was unexpected and sudden – just one month after her diagnosis – that Delyn passed away. She fought valiantly against all odds, and her family finds comfort in knowing she is no longer in pain. Her sister was by her side day and night in her last days, and they were filled with love.
Delaine will always be remembered for her courage, her selflessness and the profound impact she had on those who were lucky enough to know her. Please keep the family in your prayers during this difficult time.
