Georgina Padilla, a mother of three from Napa, California, was shot and killed by her new partner.
Padilla, 38, and her attorney Ralph Andino III, 54, were ambushed at her Napa Park Homes condominium on Lincoln Avenue near Susco Avenue.
Following a police chase that resulted in the slamming of his Chrysler and a traffic stop, 28-year-old Baltazar Rangel Juarez shot and killed the two victims at his girlfriend's apartment before taking his own life.
A neighbor reported to the local press that she heard a fight breaking out and that the woman was calling the suspect by name. Then, she claims, she heard four loud noises, hid and called 911.
After seeing Juarez driving a Chrysler 300, police chased him and crashed his vehicle into Kennedy Park. He then shot himself, but is still in the hospital receiving treatment.
Neighbors noted that he had recently started dating Padilla. Three little girls were raised by the deceased.
The incident is still under investigation by the authorities.
