The Dakota Ridge High School athletics community is saddened to announce the passing of longtime athletic trainer Larry Franca. The exact cause of his death was unknown at the time of this announcement. Being a key component in the establishment of Dakota Ridge when it first opened its doors in 1996, Larry was a founding member of the school. Before retiring, he made a significant impact on the lives of many students and staff while serving with commitment and leadership.
The entire Eagle community was forever changed by Larry's presence, and he made immeasurable contributions to the school's athletic program. Anyone who was lucky enough to know him will remember his warmth, knowledge and steadfast support.
