The allegations are related to a disturbing incident that occurred on September 15 at Trump's exclusive golf course in West Palm Beach. According to authorities, Roth spent hours camping outside the property with a weapon, attempting to shoot Trump over a chain-link fence.

According to the lawsuit, on the afternoon of Sept. 15, Roth stood regularly outside Trump's West Palm Beach golf course, clutching a rifle, waiting for the former president to approach the next hole and give himself a clear shot. Before this troubling incident, Roth had been monitoring the property and following Trump for more than a month, according to sources close to the investigation. Roth was taken into custody by law enforcement before the situation got out of hand, which could have resulted in disastrous results.
The tracking pattern
According to prosecutors' documents, Ruth's actions were planned and part of a larger pattern of stalker behavior. Roth's movements were allegedly tracked by detectives through cellphone data, which showed him visiting Trump's Mar-a-Lago home and West Palm Beach golf club several times between Aug. 18 and Sept. 15, the day of his arrest .
