Brian and Samantha Schoenke's 2-year-old son, Nehemiah Schoenke, tragically lost his life over the weekend in a tragic accident, leaving the nearby town of Champaign, Illinois, devastated.
It shocked not only his immediate family, but also the larger circle of friends, neighbors and community members who came to know and love the Scheneckes, that a bright, kind and brave young man had died so suddenly. On May 3, 2022, Nehemiah was born – affectionately called “Nana” by his family. He was the youngest of Brian and Samantha's four children, and he brought endless happiness, vitality and playfulness to the house from the moment he was born. Nehemiah influenced everyone who came in contact with him with his cherubic face, wide eyes and great passion for life.
His untimely death created a vacuum that is difficult to describe in words.
