Around 6:00 p.m., Richer's motorcycle and a pickup truck pulling a trailer collided on New Hampshire Route 2, near New Hampshire Route 1347, in a fatal crash. Although first responders and Good Samaritans did everything to save Reacher, he succumbed to his injuries after being taken to Concord Hospital.

Details about the motorcycle accident
The crash involved a red 2004 Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck driven by Paul T. Souza Jr., 32, of Weare, New Hampshire. Souza was making a left turn onto an unpaved residential driveway when Richer, who was operating a 2017 Harley-Davidson Black Street Glide, attempted to pass the truck by crossing the double yellow line and going over on the left side.
Unfortunately, this maneuver proved fatal when Reacher crashed into the side of the spinning truck, which was towing a trailer. Upon impact, Reacher was thrown from his motorcycle and tragically trapped under the trailer.
Witnesses at the scene, including Sousa, acted quickly to lift the trailer and release Reacher from underneath it. Despite their heroic efforts, Reacher sustained fatal injuries, and after life-saving measures were administered, he was rushed to Concord Hospital.
