Matt Howard and Abby Howard, a TikTok couple, are being criticized for their family cruise once again.
Earlier this week, Matt, 26, and Abby, 25, shared photos on Instagram from their trip with their sons Griffin, 2, and August, 12 months.
After his DWI arrest, Justin Timberlake apologizes and calls it a “mistake.”
“So in the end we took them for 5 nights and it turned out that they didn't enjoy it and therefore neither did we,” my father wrote in an Instagram story that has since expired. “So, so we swapped our dinner time after their bedtime and FaceTIMED the monitors while we ate.”
She continued, “And it worked out much better for everyone!”
According to my father, their baby monitor did not “work on board” unless the parents were within “10 feet” of the device.
Although Matt and Abby devised a solution to keep an eye on their sons while they enjoyed a dinner date, they ran into a social media firestorm.
“Why isn't anyone talking about Matt and Abby leaving their kids alone to sleep in their boat cabins while they ate dinner?!?! What the hell,” wrote one social media user via X.
Another added, “Everything I've learned about Matt and my father on TikTok is against my will, but everything I'm learning is getting worse.”

Social media users were furious that the couple would leave their children unattended while they explored a huge cruise ship. Neither Matt nor Abby have publicly addressed the backlash.
Ahead of the scandal, my father posted more stories and photos on Instagram about the trip. As of Sunday, September 15, all uploads have been removed from her page.
The Howards have been together since high school, eventually tying the knot in July 2019 before welcoming their son. Since becoming parents, the “Unplanned” podcasters have shared their relationship and parenting highs and lows via social media.
