Mason Santiago of New Lenox, Illinois, sadly passed away in an accident on Interstate 80. Mason died early Sunday morning as a result of an accident on Interstate 80 in the south suburbs. The accident claimed the lives of two people. Just before 4:30 a.m., there was an accident on westbound I-80 in Tinley Park between La Grange Road and Harlem Avenue.
The victims died from their injuries sustained in the collision and were pronounced dead. This is a current and active investigation. The investigation is still ongoing. We send our condolences and prayers to the family of the deceased during this difficult time.
