After the untimely death of Andrew Rogers in a car accident, Oakridge is grief-stricken. Andrew was a devoted husband and father to three lovely daughters, Maya (10), Ava (17) and Hannah (21).
As a longtime Oakridge resident, Andrew was a source of support and stability for his family and neighborhood. Everyone who knew him, including his family, was crushed by the vacuum left by his unexpected death.
There was no love like Andrew for his family. He went to great lengths to give his wife Diane and their daughters a stable, loving and humorous life. He was loved in the community for his warmth and friendliness, as well as his steadfast support and loyalty to his friends and family.

In the wake of this tragedy, Ben Davis, a close family friend, created a GoFundMe campaign to support Diane and the girls. In his heartfelt message, Davis wrote: *”Andrew was the heart of his family, a man who always put his loved ones first… His sudden passing left a void that can never be filled.”* The goal of the fundraiser is to help. with immediate expenses, such as funeral costs, and provide long-term financial security for his daughters.
The campaign received overwhelming support from the community, with friends and neighbors pitching in to offer assistance. Among them is Ashley Moore, a real estate broker at Inc. Brokerage, who expressed her grief on social media, writing, *”Diane and the girls are so amazing, and their world is shattered. This hits too close to home…hug and cherish your loved ones!”*
Moore shared a recent family photo taken at the cottage last summer, a reminder of the happy times the Rogers family shared. Andrew's loss left a deep impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
