Person of interest identified in fatal Alpharetta shooting

A shooting in Alpharetta, Georgia late Wednesday night at the intersection of Interstate 9 and Milton Avenue claimed one life.

When Alpharetta police arrived at the scene at 11 p.m., they found 46-year-old Justin Abel with a gunshot wound.

He was treated at a nearby hospital, but it was not enough. The police identified a person of interest who is now at large.

Through their investigations, the police came to the conclusion that two people had a verbal argument before the shooting.

A person of interest was located. Dressed in black pants, a helmet, gloves and a black jacket with white patches, he is seen riding a motorcycle and brandishing a firearm.
