On September 12, 2024, Lillian Strzelski, a beloved teacher and longtime Pennridge resident, passed peacefully at the age of 72. Lillian was born on November 15, 1951, and spent more than 30 years as an elementary school teacher in Pennridge. school district, where she shaped the lives of many students. Everyone she came in contact with was deeply affected by her kindness, nurturing nature and enthusiasm for education.

Born and raised in Bucks County, PA, Lillian graduated from Temple University with a teaching degree. She began her teaching career in the Pennridge School District, working with students spanning multiple generations. Lillian was more than just a teacher; She was a mentor and friend to both her students and co-workers. She was known for her innovative teaching strategies, her patience and the personal attention she offered to each child. She had a unique talent for inspiring children to follow their dreams, instilling a love of reading and making learning fun.

She loved learning things outside the classroom. Lillian actively participated in several district committees and was a constant voice for improving student opportunities. A passionate supporter of the value of community involvement, she regularly volunteered at school events, fostering a closer relationship between Pennridge families and teachers.

Lillian was a loving wife, mother and grandmother in addition to her profession. She married Thomas Strzelsky, and they had 48 wonderful years together. The pride and joy of her life, Mark and Sarah, were the two children they raised together. As a grandmother, Lillian gave her grandchildren love, support and happiness all the time. Whether she was baking, gardening or at her grandchildren's school fairs, she loved being with her family.

Thomas Strzelski of Peraksi, Lillian's partner; Mark Strzelski (Jennifer) of Doylestown; Sarah Peters (Ethan) Malfonte; their grandchildren, Emma, ​​Eva and Noa; Margaret Wilson of Philadelphia, Lillian's sister; and other nieces, nephews and close friends are all living.

On September 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., a memorial service will be held to honor Lillian's life at Sellersville's St. Agnes Catholic Church. On September 19, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., friends and family are invited to attend a visitation at Sadler-Suess Funeral Home in Telford. Donations to the American Cancer Society or the Pennridge School District Scholarship Fund may be made in Lillian's honor in lieu of flowers.

Lillian Strzelsky will always be appreciated for her never-ending kindness, commitment to learning, and intense love for her family. Those lucky enough to know her will always be driven by her legacy. Everyone will remember her with great affection and a heavy heart.
